The Catalan Association of Circus Professionals (APCC) represents all the professional fields of Catalan circus (artists, technicians, businessmen, managers, directors, playwrights, scenic artists, choreographers, reviewers, historians, teachers, etc.). Nowadays it counts with 145 members.

The APCC main goal is the diffusion and normalization of the circus in all its expressions, as a cultural fact at the same level as other scenic arts. To achieve it, the APCC works closely to administrations, as well as fomenting the training, creation, production, exhibition networks, communication, historic heritage and legal fields.

The APCC manages La Central del Circ - Espai de Creació de Barcelona, a centre for practice and rehearsal of circus professionals, with a regular specialised training program. The place also supports artistic creation and a program on art residences. La Central del Circ, completely equipped with circus technical and material resources, is located in a tent in the Parc del Forum in Barcelona.
